Message from CPP Coaches

Dear Players and Families,

At our soccer program, our mission has always been to help young athletes become better players, stronger individuals, and more confident both on and off the field.

Both Coach Tamas and Coach Ollie grew up in Europe, where we developed as players until the age of 18 before accepting opportunities to play at the college level while earning our degrees. Those experiences shaped not only how we played the game, but also how we now teach and mentor young athletes.

  • Since coaching in the United States, we have realized both the challenges within the club system and the incredible potential these young players have. Playing multiple sports is great for athletic development and experience, but we strongly believe that in order to reach the next level there is benefit to pick a sport and the players must be willing to put in extra work outside of team training.

Ollie Ardle will oversee player development in the Rochester area. Ollie is currently an assistant coach at Roberts Wesleyan University, a respected NCAA Division II program. His experience at the collegiate level allows him to guide players who are preparing for higher levels of competition.

In the Cleveland area, Tamas Nagy leads training and development. Tamas currently plays professionally for the Cleveland Crunch, first signing for Lorain County Leviathan and has recently accepted a high school head coaching position at only 24 years old — a reflection of his leadership, knowledge of the game, and commitment to developing young athletes.

Having played at a high level ourselves, we understand and have studied how important confidence is, what the right way to train looks like, and how mentality can impact performance. But one thing will never change — hard work. There are no shortcuts in soccer. Success comes from discipline, consistency, and the willingness to improve every single day.

Our mentorship is designed not only to help players improve technically, but also to build confidence, motivation, discipline, and consistency. The feedback we receive from parents continues to show us the impact this environment has on young athletes.

One parent told us:

“Caleb came home after school and went outside to train on his own. We’ve never seen him this motivated before.”

Another shared:

“Lilly broke her juggling record. You guys have had an amazing impact on her.”

While we are focused on developing next-level athletes, our goal goes far beyond soccer alone.

We believe our environment teaches lessons for life. The only way to succeed in anything is through consistency, discipline, and hard work. That is why we provide our players with training plans they can follow outside of sessions, helping them continue improving on their own time.

Our mindset calls are recommended for all ages. The purpose is not only to motivate players and build confidence, but also to teach the tactical side of the game. Through our own experiences, we realized that in many club environments there is often not enough time to fully explain positional responsibilities, movement off the ball, or how to find and attack the right spaces during a game.

We want our players to understand the game, think with confidence, and develop habits that will help them succeed both on and off the field.

Thank you to every family and athlete who continues to trust us to be part of your journey. We are excited about the future and committed to helping the next generation of players reach their highest potential.

Sincerely,

CPP
